Indonesia Indah Restaurant

Located at the CBD, Indonesia Indah could be easily reached by workers or people visiting the CBD. It is located underground, which gives you a 'special' kind of ambience, specially with the 'wayang' decorations. It is a good place to eat and relax yourself for a bit, preferably with your friend or co-worker. However, the food is actually quite blunt. While it is still taste good, there are many Indonesian/Malaysian restaurant that taste better. The price is also quite steep, so student like me can't really afford the food there too often. It is also not like the Padang food as I remembered back home, but please correct me if I'm wrong. As a halal Indonesian restaurant, it is logically make sense that they should have a place to pray (shalat) at. Sadly, they don't. Moreover, when I accompany my sister to look for places to pray in the CBD, the owner (I think) asked us to buy something first. Me, who wanted to buy food at the first place felt kinda disgusted, but realized that business is business. However, the service towards customer is pretty good, so this might not be of an issue. I recommend this place for the ambience, and overall I rate this 7/10.
